PG1 Aircond is a Penang-based aircon service company. We chemically wash, repair, and install aircon units for homes and businesses across the island and mainland — and we are stubborn about explaining the technical side in plain language.

Our Story

## It started with one frustration

Too many Penang homeowners were getting sold a gas top-up when the real problem was a clogged coil. Or sold a new unit when a chemical overhaul would have brought the old one back. PG1 Aircond opened in 2011 to do things differently: diagnose first, then quote, then explain.

From one technician working out of Desa Green, we've grown to a team serving 410+ homes and businesses across George Town, Bayan Lepas, the NE coast, and the mainland. We still operate the same way: on-site diagnosis, transparent quote, plain-language explanation.

### Diagnose before you quote

We inspect the unit on-site, identify the actual cause, and only then tell you what it will cost.

### Explain in plain language

R32 vs R410a, chemical wash vs overhaul, why your bill went up — we explain what we found and why our recommendation makes sense.

### Don't upsell what you don't need

If a basic service is enough, we say so. If the unit is better replaced than repaired, we say that too — even if it means a smaller invoice today.

15+ years in Penang aircon servicing

KC leads the technical and content side of PG1 Aircond. He's spent 15+ years on the inside of split units, ceiling cassettes, and VRV systems across Penang, and he writes the guides on this site himself.

Specialities: chemical washes, refrigerant diagnostics (R32, R410a), customer education. If you've spoken to us on WhatsApp, there's a decent chance it was KC.
